For me art is the way to grasp thoughts and emotions physically. Via the realization of my work and its outward effects on the viewer a dialogue is begun, that reaches beyond the actual piece of art and reveals some information about the observer himself. This expedition and initiated dialogue illustrates art as an effective mediator of communication.
The affinity towards abstract art nurtures itself from the experience that abstract art allows for a more profound dialogue about its objects.
The idleness of human mind is quickly satisfied by something concrete. One observes what strikes the eye and what can be recognized corresponding to habits and dispositions.
While first of all abstraction offers a stimulation of thought, it simultaneously leaves room for approaching emotions in a neutral way. In order to gain understanding of the work of art the observer deeply reflects the basics and roots of his values and opinions - a critical reflection on your own being and a chance for rethinking.
